In the afternoon, begin your guided City Tour, an immersive introduction to the rich archaeological heritage of the former Inca capital. Your journey includes visits to:

  • Koricancha: Once the most important temple in the Inca Empire, dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. Its finely crafted stone walls reveal the extraordinary skill of Inca engineers.
  • Sacsayhuaman: An awe-inspiring fortress constructed with massive stone blocks, some weighing more than 100 tons. Its strategic location offers stunning panoramic views of Cusco.
  • Qenqo: A mysterious ceremonial center believed to have been used for rituals, featuring an intricate network of carved passages and an underground chamber.
  • Pukapukara: A military lookout post made of reddish stone, thought to have served as a fortress and resting place for travelers and soldiers.
